This one looks to be RO treating well-water to process water standards. This is the type of small industrial installation we could see with Niroflex in future. Fluence definitely have brand recognition and trust within the fish processing industry there, as this is their 3rd win in the last 3 years.


This win follows on from 2 previous Ecuadorian fish industry wastewater plants.

The signing of the contract for the purchase and manufacture of a water purification plant for Posorja, El Morro, Puerto el Morro, Fecha de Posorja, San Miguel and San Juan with capacity was signed on Thursday, June 22nd. Of 200 L / s. (Liters per second).
The purchase and manufacture of this plant is one of the main works carried out by the concessionaire to enhance the development of the rural parishes of Guayaquil with respect to the operation and supply of public services; In terms of potable water supply in Posorja and El Morro, this operation was previously carried out by Hidroplayas and from October 2016, Interagua incorporated them into its distribution plan.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PLANT
• Surface water treatment from the San Juan reservoir
• Net production capacity of 200 liters per second with the possibility of climbing up to 600 liters per second in later stages.
• Compliance with the water quality standards required by the INEN Standard 1108 fifth revision.
• Treatment of effluents and sludge from potabilization processes. The technology to be used will be ultrafiltration, with the following processes: raw water pumping, solids grinding by means of a thick grid, fine sieving by means of a 3 mm sieve, chemical addition, ring filtering, ozone application, ultrafiltration and disinfection.

RWL Water Italia SRL, will execute the provision and assembly of the plant, which is expected to become operational by the end of the first quarter of 2018.Investment amount: US $ 5,351,463
