I agree, unless someone/s has assessed that those set of numbers will be pushed back even further than anticipated. As mentioned I'm dumbfounded by the reaction as I thought markets were forward looking.
Couple thoughts on Covid 19 and you are right it has been around since March and before, but I think people/countries/corporations are just waking up to the reality/fact that this thing isn't going away any time soon or until a vaccine is found. I suspect most people thought a couple weeks lock down China style and 'bobs your uncle". Second wave is a reality in many places now and companies seem to be stuck in the mud through no fault of their own.
If you think about it, originally it was isolated to China, but now the numbers are becoming out of control/staggering in nearly all our major markets (apart from China at the moment). I really don't know, but reading the situation in Africa and all the water projects being delayed, just reinforced the difficulties in getting stuff done now. As much as I respect and enjoy reading/laughing all the posts, I don't subscribe to "bash management" I do feel for management in trying to manoeuvre through this difficult time.
Anyway, my honest thoughts and never thought I would be posting as regular on FLC. Maybe its time for a break, which I suspect would please some posters.
