IMO a reassuring update even with no 'new' news.
Same slide deck as before..
Started out with a run down on disadvantages of centralized WW plants because opex on pipeline systems is massive ongoing cost.
Advantages of MABR with anonymous data collected from every system used to improve FLC MABR solutions.
Talks of 'cluster orders' possibility in China
Waste Water As a Service = high margins
IC Covid headwinds, but happy with progress.
Long Q & A for last 30mins
Comfortable with cash position
As mentioned above discussed new business ann. +$3m
Cambodia 1st WWT plant in the country
Philippines - new strict regulations & Water Authority is approaching FLC on new installations, (fines for incumbents if they don't improve)
Discussed (quite honestly IMO) Henry's departure
Competitors discussed, FLC adv. due to higher standards being a prerequisite, cleaning required on competitor MABR systems(i.e tubes)
China- Money becoming available for water systems
SE Asia opportunities
possibly more activity in Europe
USA - not much ATM
Australia - discussed a wish list but nothing ATM
Sludge - MABR has a sludge storage tank which is regularly emptied (like a septic tank)
Mining - apart from camp WWT used for dust suppression, mining applications not suited for FLC
China/Aus/Israel relationships discussed
Looking for a female board member
Can Suez/DuPont offer smaller competitive plants - yes in the larger retrofit markets vs Subre, not containerized systems.
US - Biden Administration - hope it will be more water funding, 40% of US households have septic tanks, so hopefully in that area
China manufacturing (seen as Israeli tech, made in China) has run three shifts in the past & can be upgraded by another three lines at a capex cost of ~$1.5m for production of ~$75m revenue/pa for each line
Big orders - no specifics - "stay tuned"
"Is FLC trying to sell as much as possible"? - Yes very, but through its partners in China
Our MABR material costs are much less than that of our competitors.
Most operating costs around sales & support not R & D
Any China Rail 3 Gorges orders? - FLC has ~40 partners discusses the potentials when dealing with national relationships, including two more which he couldn't name.
We should be getting some news, he just couldn't say when
