As I said above, the NY pictured plant from the webinar that Gilad referenced is the Oneida site that Energy Systems Group won a $48m upgrade contract for to build anaerobic digestion + modernize. The work started last year.


Energy Systems Group were a partner of Fluence for the development of Nitro.
They received funding through BIRD for this development.

Gilad basically said details of the project were still to be announced, but I imagine that ESG will add in a Fluence Nitro unit into the Oneida system to give it the efficiency benefits from treating the supernatant discharge from the anaerobic digestors that they are currently building. This will be way under the typical $3m ASX announcement threshold standard, but I'd imagine a first commercial Nitro project in the USA will get an announcement at some stage to try to drum up some industry and investor attention.
