On May 9, the Fluence Changzhou team had the honor of hosting Deputy County Mayor Chen Guanren, Director Chen Zhongyi, and a delegation from Lienchiang County’s Environmental Resources Bureau. Their visit aimed to explore advanced wastewater treatment technologies to enhance environmental development in their region.

We introduced our membrane aerated biofilm reactor (MABR) technology, which offers highly efficient and energy-saving wastewater treatment by enabling simultaneous nitrification and denitrification within a single tank. The visit highlighted MABR’s key features—such as its containerized mobility, durable membranes lasting up to 15 years, exceptional energy efficiency, straightforward operation, and minimal sludge production—which can address Lienchiang County’s unique challenges of dispersed populations and rugged terrain.

Deputy County Mayor Chen emphasized their commitment to environmental protection, with a wastewater connection rate currently the third highest in Taiwan. Their efforts focus on improving service quality, reducing costs, and aligning with Taiwan’s 2050 net-zero emission goals.

We are excited to support Lienchiang County’s vision and look forward to further collaboration. Together, we can drive the future of sustainable wastewater treatment and create more liveable communities.
