Reuse targets vary from 25% to 35% of treated wastewater to alleviate water stress. The Plan also emphasizes energy saving, low carbon processes for which MABR is ideal.

Based on this data Fluence estimates approximately 1,600 centralized wastewater treatment plants need to be upgraded throughout China."

Recently, Fluence actively provided advanced sewage treatment equipment and technical support for the upgrading and expansion project of Jingyuan Wastewater Treatment Plant in She County, Hebei Province. Through the active cooperation of local distributors and project contractors, this project has been smoothly promoted. As one of the important environmental protection facilities in She County, it is also one of Fluence's largest on-site expansion and upgrading cases to date. After the project is completed, the daily treatment capacity of the sewage treatment plant will reach25,000tons, and the effluent water quality will be improved to ClassIV surface waterstandards, providing strong support for local sustainable development.

In this project, the transformation of theCASSpool is a key part of the project. Considering the shortage of land in the original plant area andthe higher requirements forCOD,BOD , nitrogen and phosphorus after the upgrade, the project improves the treatment effect of the biochemical system by optimizing and transforming theCASSpool without increasing the original pool capacity. Fluence applies its advancedMABRtechnology to the biochemical pool to enhance the denitrification and phosphorus removal effects, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimizing the treatment effect.

In order to implement the relevant provisions of the "Water Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan" and the "Urban Wastewater Treatment Plant Pollutant Emission Standard" LevelA, various parts of the country have accelerated the pace of upgrading and expanding sewage treatment plants, and through technological upgrades, achieved higher standards of water quality emissions and protected water resources and the ecological environment.

It was about 2 weeks ago, FLC through its social media had announced a completion of the first phase of the 25,000 m3/d upgrade at Shexian County in Hebei. This evening, their news at Weibo had announced the completion of the upgrade from Class 1A to Class IV discharge standard.

She County is in Handan City precinct and the 25,000 tons capacity can be expanded to 50,000 tons in the future.

Hope to see more wins and completions into our 2H and I believe only a consistent positive cash flow at company level will make FLC an investment grade stock.

A sewage treatment plant in Handan, Hebei Province recently successfully completed an upgrading project, with the effluent quality being raised from the original ClassAdischarge standard to the more stringent Class IV surface water standard.

The wastewater treatment plant currently has a daily treatment capacity of25,000tons andcan be expanded to50,000tons in the future. A key part of the transformation is the introduction of membrane aerated biofilm reactor(MABR)technology, an innovative solution that plays an important role in meeting the more stringent requirements for ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen removal.

In order to meet the stricter requirements for the removal of ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen, the project added an anoxic tank in front of the original Biolake process and introducedthe MABRprocess to improve the removal efficiency of ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen. In addition, the expansion of the biochemical pool and the upgrade of the sludge system also further optimized the treatment process to ensure that the effluent water quality meets higher environmental protection standards.

This upgrade demonstrates our continued efforts in the field of environmental protection and has made important contributions to the green development of Handan. In the future, Fluence will continue to be committed to environmental protection and jointly protect our beautiful home.
