No worries at all. The MABR is great tech and has plenty of applications in the wastewater space, whether it be mainstream, sidestream, polishing or even storm water treatment etc. And as a sidestream treatment solution it is still a very viable competitor as a lot of countries don't have access to anammox biomass or the know how, ie the first full-scale anammox system in Australia was only commissioned earlier this year as it took years to cultivate the biomass.

The Nitro still produces really good results from first glance, as they were able to achieved 90% conversion to nitrite without going all the way to nitrate. This is beneficial as you save about 25% on O2 consumption and 40% of carbon if you can reduce the nitrite directly to Nitrogen (nitrite shunt). In the sidestream this is relatively easy to control, in the mainstream this can be quite difficult due to the lower ammonium concentration.

I definitely see the MABR as something that will be added to existing overloaded plants as an upgrade option opposed to high CAPEX infrastructure. The popular new phase in wastewater is process intensification " getting the most out of existing assets", and using MABR is definitely a great upgrade option to get bang for your buck.
