Just popped up from Fluence Medias. Does it mean we are going to get another 3 times of the same project to increase desalination capacity from 40,000 to 160,000 m3/d? Or does it mean the current installation can be tuned up from 40k to 160k?

Last week, Fluence was honored to host a delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, led by Dr. Sayed Ismail, Deputy Minister of Housing for Infrastructure Affairs. The group toured utility projects in New Mansoura City, including our state-of-the-art desalination plant, which has successfully completed the first phase of development, passing all tests performed by independent labs. At the end of the visit, Dr. Ismail thanked the team for the significant progress made in less than a year. The plant currently produces 40,000 m3/day of drinking water that meets Egyptian and international standards, and will ultimately treat 160,000 m3/day seawater to accommodate the future 680,000 residents of New Mansoura.See more photos and read more (in Arabic) in the press: https://lnkd.in/dnpQdtMb and https://lnkd.in/deB2Unrx#desalination#smartcities#egypt
