Yes, @southern80, I was a public servant in the state government. Must say it was sobering listening to the meeting and how MABR was classed as emerging technology.

I got the impression that when the words "emerging technology" was mentioned there was an inference of " not proven" " unfamiliar" " maybe too radical for us at this stage" and " stick with what we know" mentality. Could be wrong and unfair.

Now to be fair, i didnt listen in on the whole meeting and take my hat off to the people for doing their best in trying to get the best solution for their community.

Couple points;
Just goes to show the pecking order MABR fits at the local level in USA

China examples might not cut it as they want examples in their own back yard to feel more comfortable. How often does this happen, nearly always at a local level. IMO

I reckon better promotion of the Stanford University case study might have been helpful, but nothing like word of mouth.

Anyway, final decision hasn't been made yet and at least we are in the final mix.

My clear bias and 5 torturous years reading about MABR show through.

All in my humble opinion.
