More widespread use of RATs is a step in the right direction, but I don't get why you keep trying to push the TGA for more approvals.
Where is this "political pressure to get their arses moving on approvals" going on come from? TGA have already approved self-tests for use for almost 2 months, and there are 15 self-tests approved already. If there is a supply issue currently, I'm sure the existing approved sellers are working to address this.
There is no-one out there pushing for more to be approved, apart from those with self-interests.
