I am not sure why everyone has been getting stuck into @Hdavid92. Part of my job is to facilitate applications (in another industry) but also lobby paid and elected officials to process applications for private parties in a timely manner.

In my expereince, what I would say is that unless the lobbying comes from the correct person with the correct contacts it likely will just be white noise.

As I am not heavily invested in AT1 and do not understand the process well enough to understand what is un/reasonable, I wouldn't bother doing it myself. I do not however have an issue with others who are in the know from doing so.

What you are criticising happens all the item in my industry and every single party is always acting for their own self-interest, especially the politicians.
