Hiya, yes, both country Ab programs are based on rapid tests (home or otherwise)

No, I don't think they are qualitative tests, just simple home self-tests or quick tests delivered by professionals - think the govs there are doing sampling across the population (in Israel's case to allow children to attend school on basis of confirmed immunity) to see how much and how many are getting positive Ab results, post-infection and post-vaccination.

Such surveillance testing would likely continue in many countries, hopefully also in AU over time - to check the long term effect of the vaccines across pop samples + the vaccine providers themselves are doing their Ab sampling also (though these are probably lab managed for now).
