The health minister Greg Hunt has just said on radio at 9:50am today that 28 RAT's have been approved and he has asked TGA to approve the best for "self use" to be approved by 27 Sept. He said that self use RAT's is the next line in managing to livea with covid. They are going down the path of the UK. Kids and adults tested at home twice a week. Issued 2 per person weekly from the pharmacies.
It's going to be a huge number 2x per person x 51 weeks x 23m = ~2.346bn RAT's demand for Australia
