Yeh, it seems that more people are starting to realise that the intended use for these rapid antigen tests are repeated uses to constantly monitor COVID-19 presence. COVID-19 is a disease that comes and goes, so whilst a PCR test can be accurate at a single point in time, you'll likely need to do them again at multiple points to monitor the situation, which can add up in cost and time/effort.

And I guess even if the rapid antigen tests aren't as accurate as PCR tests on a 'one time' basis, they are pretty good (over 90% accuracy I believe). If we apply the 80/20 rule, as long as it's good enough, then it'll already have a significant benefit when applied widely (subject to repeated use).
