It is a sight to see the shelves being raided in the GW store. With the limit of 2 per customer, buyers run in, pick 2 tins, pay and leave the tins with a partner outside the store and then run in again for the next purchase.
The funniest I saw was about 2 weeks ago. One Asian lady was regularly bringing tins to the register in each run. People noticed and rushed to the IF shelves but there were no tins there. What this lady had done to corner more stock was that she had earlier hidden a number of tins in the next aisle behind the laundry powder stock. She had done it quite strategically so when other buyers noticed what she was doing and rushed to the next aisle they still couldn't find where she had hidden them. She knew exactly where she had hidden them and just kept on picking them out.
Just a sign of the kind of crazy demand that is out there.
