I don’t hate shorters done it myself many times over on various stocks indices
It’s just another tool in a traders arsenal it’s the same as buying longs just the reverse outcomes
Shorts bring liquidity to the market in fact it’s what makes a market
How many times have you bought a stock at a lower price simply because it was heavily shorted
FMG MTS come to mind you can actually profit from shorts who drop the price of a good coy for little reason
If you look at the top ten most shorted coys right now there is probably 4-5 very good long term buys on that list
