I took Synlait’s results as a net positive to a2 ‘milk.
Synlait did say “some recovery” and qualified this by saying we are also being conservative with our forecasts.
Also, as A2 was running down their inventory, a pickup in new orders would not be significant until the next few months so let’s see how that pans out.
What I thought was interesting was their comments that premixed infant formula drinks are becoming popular in China so I think this may be a new product of a2 milk at their October investor day.
