The Judge appeared to indicate that it is not likely for the two class action proceedings to be heard jointly, due to differences between them. As a result both firms are seeking a stay on each other's case and it seems possible that only one will proceed.
The A2 counsel also indicated that they have reviewed the particulars of the claims being made and formed the view that they are inadequate. They would be moving to strike out whichever claim moved forward.
