GS are probably writing an accumulation algorithm before buying.
e.g. sell 1 share, buy 2 shares to suppress the price but accumulate over time.
The algo will probably read weaknesses in the buy queue and short sell into any weakness.
It will probably work between set lower and upper price parameters.
So i dont think the buy back will push the price up much.
These algos operate all day long, watch the live trades on Commsecs IRESS.
