This is what gives me hope for the “shrinking” market.
Tier 2-4 cities - lower income - but aim to give their child the best, stretch a little to give the premium for the child’s sake but it’s also for the parents own ego.
Buying premium products makes people feel good, sense of prestige, and shows others that you have good taste/ are successful. Not much to do with milk proteins.
But then a2 also has the reputation of a high quality product that may give a child less discomfort to milk products…
Great marketing of a high quality product. That’s why I’m comfortable they are spending so much on marketing.
… and when they do push out new products, the brand will already be established and respected in these cities.
