did you watch the video? her faith in daigou, held by many here, is all I really disagree with though. Otherwise, seems reasonable.
I don’t believe daigou will get back to anything close to what it was.
Why does daigou have a role in distribution anymore? I believe a2 has matured and has made the channel redundant.
why does China need product from australian shelves when they have access to it directly? its not hard to get. SAMR protects its quality, counterfeit product is not a big issue anymore. Different, premium ingredient list on their shelves. Why English label?
Open question, I welcome anyone to offer me a different perspective. I’m certainly missing something very obvious while everyone seems to be waiting on the diagou return.
But otherwise, everything I am seeing in the Chinese market, a2’s investing in growth, the engagement from the consumers, the loyalty of the Chinese consumer, the cash in the bank, the smaller field of competition and taking market share - even before reapproval SAMR, growth despite falling birth rate- etc. We talk about these positives every day.
I consider A2 a stronger company today than it has ever been, yet why do we suffer?
