for me i think China has a massive problem with generational population. they had a generation of years with the one child policy. it is younger people who are the greatest purchasers of things. therefore it is nonsurprise that sooner or later you would get a deflationary environment where there is more supply than demand. if they cant export it then you have what you see in the latest figures.
from an a2 perspective that does not matter too much as we do not sell to 20-30 year olds. however those 20/30 year olds will be the ones having the children and if there are far less of them then clearly less babies to sell to.
