I still don't get why they chose the US market for this collagen product, it would be perfectly suited to China.

China wants this stuff. The growing millennial population of Asian countries, increasing supplementary income, and increased internet penetration, have led to greater awareness of beauty and wellness trends and the high demand for cosmetic and nutraceutical products in countries such as China and Japan is well documented.

I don't see it doing much in the USA, but someone is paid to do that research so I hope im wrong.

The Upper East Side and Valley girls who might take a look at this are already supplementing their health regimes with collagen supplements found at any health food shop for much less and more convenience.
Half are probably off animal proteins.

You can buy cheaper collagen in pill form or powdered and tasteless, add it to whatever you want.
you could add it to a glass of A2 milk and add some Nesquik and you've recreated the above.

Re-label this and sell it to the beauty-conscious and silver generation in China, they'd be better off.

we know there is a movement for a2 protein in the health community. particularly West Coast is aware of the information found in sources like Devil in the Milk, but athletes can't switch to a complete a2 protein diet when their protein supplements are all a1.

a2 could own that market easily by trailing a tub of powdered a2 whey and casein protein blend, Call it Hershey's a2 Pro if they want, but they'd be better off not, minimise sugar, even go flavourless so you can add it to your smoothies or add your own flavoured syrup...
One low Cal version and one higher... could also be used for the elderly to maintain weight.
put it on bodybuilding.com, advertise at Mr. Olympia, and sell a liquid-flavoured version at convenience stores like CVC.

China's strength training supplement market is massive too.
strip it to as clean as can be, with minimal additives.
Baby formula for adults. It's too easy not to try.

(i thought I had seen someone do it, but on a quick search, i can't find any high protein A2-only supplement for adults.
$85 USD for the generic 2.2L tub below. If it worked, they'd be printing money.
To me, it's an obvious move vs. niche products.)
