depends how badly they want it. as you may know, Australia is not exactly a child friendly country either. I am paying $1500 per month for 4 days of childcare/kinder in Melbourne. this is apparently after a subsidy and some sort of kinder payment. no exactly encouraging a family of 5 kids etc. friends in Germany and some EU countries pay about 60 euro a month.
