Good comment golddigger i think there is a disconnect between between a lot of share prices and business realities caused by big players pumping and dumping at the expense of smaller players who have no idea what share prices are worth and are easily flushed out, Particularly if they are using margin loans.
This could be a reason why a lot of people use charting to understand momentums to identify entry / exit points rather than business worth.
My last forward 12 month price estimate on a2 was about $7 which is roughly what Goldman Sachs paid up to during the buyback.
Perhaps Shorters identify stocks that have substantial mum and dad holdings and play the pump and dump game every day.
I have often thought they short in the morning and slowly cover in the afternoon or the next day. Their algos would drive this.
Probably Fridays gains will be lost on Monday as the game continues.
