ESG is just a part of doing business these days. I'd also hazard a guess there's a lot of overlap between the demographic who value it and A2M's customer base, at least in Aus/NZ anyway. IMO it is good for the clean and green image that people seem to associate NZ with.
Not sure about the total cost was but I think they got about $5M in co-funding from the NZ government for the electric boiler project.
