Yes I saw DB's response and that was always my assumption as well. But Synlait's chairman was asked the same question a month later at SML's meeting and gave a different answer that was reported as below:
"Asked why Synlait did not have an a2 representative on its board, McGilvary said there was no particular reason."
Just seemed odd, you'd think Synlait's chairman would be clear on the detail.
