Because it's been six months since then. If they were going to announce that they are expanding from beyond a distribution trial at the half-yearly, you would expect to see some of that inventory on its way.
How long do you want to see a tiny distribution trial last? It seemed a little questionable to me that there was even the need for such a trial, given that other companies with less established store presence etc. have not wasted any time with such an approach. I can see the rationale for some caution but they are loosing ground against the competition.
They've had 6 months now to figure out whether it is worth expanding or not. They need to get in or get out. And if they are in, they need to capitalise on their distribution footprint and actually market it properly.
Or else maybe someone can explain to me why they should stick to a bunch of stores in Michigan and an Amazon listing with zero marketing?
