I think you might be right @Termsofuse - they look to be saying the number 1 contributor to the loss is "increased financing and operation costs" - the interest would obviously be a big factor now with that debt .... A2M could be in the box seat here to fix that through taking a bigger piece of the pie - will Bright Diary let them is the real question I guess?
The timing isn't great for Synlait if indeed SM1 are going to undertake a CR in the next 4-6 weeks to enable the debt reduction as the share price will surely drop further today
