Years ago A2M and Jalna had a co-branded A2 yoghurt. It was around awhile and had a few packaging iterations with the A2 logo as seen below
Then this arrangement ended and after awhile Jalna brought out its own A2 yoghurt minus the A2M logo.
It doesn't seem to have done so well as I never saw it around very much before it disappeared. Perhaps not as popular without the A2 brand.
Jalna was a family business then acquired by Lactalis in 2022.
Yesterday I spotted these new product at Woolies:
Seems to me an attempt to resurrect the product with much closer resemblance to the A2 brand (see the use of purple, which isnt on any of the other Jalna products- just this one).
Now dont get me wrong - it's A2M's loss for not having it's own product in this space. But I find it annoying when other companies try to use these tactics to cash in on the A2 brand.
