The interesting thing about this chart is that A2Milk Co had its growth run during the period steeply declining birth rates. This implies that the declining birth rates does not have a direct impact on the sales growth of A2M.
My theory is that as people have less children, they devote more resources to each child ie premium formula vs lower end formula for a family of 5.
Do you think that the Chinese consumer from the 70's, 80's or 90's could afford A2Milk Platinum for instance? I think not.
