They never made it to China full stop. And their foray into USA was basically a scam. They promised massive supply that they couldn't even produce, let alone sell, and are getting sued by their US distributor (separate to another lawsuit here in Australia).
I think it was all an attempt to sucker in investor capital with an IPO, but the wheels fell off the scheme before they got anywhere near that.
