I agree werd. My take is the shorts short in the morning and try to cover in the afternoon to avoid overnight exposures.
I dont think they are keen on overnight exposures as the probability of higher EPS now exceeds the probability of lower EPS.
The volume of shorts has reduced. Only 166 k shorts for the day on 1 July.
