The a2 milk company has launched their new a2 Gentle Gold™ range to increase their offering of a2 Milk® based products, and to provide an additional a2® early life nutrition option which is cheaper so more accessible to more families. The a2 Platinum® range will continue to be their best formula.
Both of the Stage 1 infant formula products are formulated to meet the Australian and New Zealand food regulations and are a complete nutrition source for infants from birth. Both products are made with a2 Milk™ and are formulated specifically for babies from birth.
a2 Platinum® Premium infant formula is higher in some nutrients, including DHA and ARA (omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids), as well as some vitamins & minerals. Further, the a2 Platinum® range contains nucleotides, while a2 Gentle Gold™ does not. Both products contain the prebiotic GOS at the same level. Both have no probiotics.
The existing a2 Platinum® Stage 1 RRP is AUD $40.50, whereas the a2 Gentle Gold™ Stage 1 RRP is AUD $32. The a2 Platinum® range of products are 900g, where as the a2 Gentle Gold™ range of products are 800g. This means that a2 Platinum® is $4.50 per 100g and a2 Gentle Gold™ $4.00 per 100g.
