I just went to one, put on by the hospital, instructor was a midwife, and on the boards of everything pre/postnatal… she didnt have a favorable opinion of formula at all.
Only when it was necessary was the instruction, and this is the only time the hospital will give formula. Not just to anyone, but under specific circumstances.
No way would they let in a formula company to sponsor the classes.
