Yes, life isn't pleasant when you have shorted the crap out of a share only to find the market doesn't agree with you and then a report is released which shows the shorted company continues to steal share from its multinational competitors while increasing their ASP.
Losses mounting and no one wants to sell to you in volume to escape your stupid short position. So you might as well create some artificial sell pressure to trick a few retail investors. The problem is the algo's and more experienced investors will not be falling for that trick.
