I couldn't agree more. My accountant freaked out when I told him how much unrealised capital gain I was sitting on back when the SP was around $2 to $3. He tried to convince me to sell and 'move onto the next one'. I couldn't convince him that I don't think I can find a better stock to 'move onto' at that time. That went over his head.
Never take investment advice from accountants. They are not investors/traders or financial advisors. They probably no stuff all about what you have invested in. Only you have that responsibility to know where and why your money is invested in a particular stock.
