Why on earth would you want more shares in Synlait than a blocking stake. Makes absolutely no sense using scare cash for that purpose. This is a Jonathan Snape from Bell Potters pet fetish, but he just puts it out there so he can say "no dividends or buybacks" There is no strategic reason for a2 to increase its stake its wasted cash, it has a five year agreement and price reduction recently negotiated so what would spending millions on more shares achieve
