I get nervous when a CEO does a promo piece pumping their own tyres in a newspaper article. The scary bit is that the board weren't willing to make a comment on the CEO for the article because she hasn't proven herself yet. If she had been at the company for 3+ years, then go ahead and do the article. But less than 12 months in the job is hardly representative of what she has achieved at the company
I remember McBain and her side-kick CFO at BAL did a similar promo piece a week or so before that fateful day in 2016. I'm not saying the same will happen, but there is a precedent for bad things happening after such an event
