blackeyed is correct (this time)
US Infant formula market is very different to Australia or China.
50% of infant formula is provided for free from hospitals (or heavily subsidised)
the rest of the market finds it hard to compete with this, hence much lower prices.
really limited opportunity in US for infant formula...
sports nutrition, healthy kids nutritional drinks, elderly nutrition is where the massive opportunities are.
