Yes most of the dairy herds in China are crossbreads(Chinese Black and White) are derived from cross-breeding between the local yellow cattle and Holstein. This change started when they started expanding their herds and decided to use Holstein bulls for the purpose for a number of reasons.
China now imports large quantities of dairy calves which has been a positive for aust dairy farmers as they are not choosey and are paying top dollar to farmers.
