Chianti, good on you for being right. However, not all of us have the insights you obviously did. Happy for you to dance a jig on her grave but a few months in it was too early to start calling for her head and if anyone is to blame for this costly debacle whatever you want to call it......it was the Board.
The level of due diligence must not have been there, no behavioral testing undertaken, ear the ground stuff re Qantas issues etc etc so I for one is glad the Board removed her as more info seeps out, but equally I am VERY annoyed that no one for the Board appears to have rolled from their comfy positions after costing A2 17 months of pain and tens of millions of dollars. Whilst HR professionals seem to be blameless.
Very happy to be funding Tennis Australia who aren't that far behind us in terms of income. Whilst for Jayne I certainly wouldn't cross the street to say hello as she has very much been true to her form and will lead a very happy and comfortable life as Chair of Tennis Australia at our expense.
I think we have also all forgotten the crew that she has also installed at A2, I hope that they are ought into A2 as much as myself but I doubt it, only time will tel if they were part of her gravy train or deliverers.
