LIC’s European team is also targeting sales and service developments in France and Poland, pressing ahead with the co-op’s expansion plans despite the Brexit and free-trade agreement turmoil in Britain and the European Union.

The focus at AgriScot was all about the five LIC bulls the co-op’s leaders have confirmed for UK use, believing they can each have a big future in Europe.
The five are: Maire IG Gauntlet-ET, a pedigree A2A2 bull that produces milky daughters with great temperament, type and capacity unrivalled by other Holstein bulls, Bells CM Conrad, a Jersey sire, also A2A2, producing big, capacious daughters with exceptional production and fertility, UK and NZ favourite Okura LT Integrity, Glen Koru Epic, a Kiwicross and another A2A2 sire, strong right across the board and improving each time his daughters are analysed and top 5 in NZ and Arkarns Beaut-ET, a bull that has sired more daughters than any other bull in NZ over the past three years and is in high demand.

I don't know why A2MC won't subsidie  NZ farmers to convert their herds as an incentive to use artificial insemination.   There are 550 dairy farms in the Manawatu  district.

Fonterra Brands is bottling regular and lite A2 milk in one and two litre packs with supply from only one Manawatu dairy farm, processed at Fonterra’s Longburn site.

Fonterra is still consulting its farmer-shareholders on their options and willingness to convert to A2-A2 cow herds and the premium supply price has not been set as of August 2018.

Fonterra’s organic supply forecast is $8.10/kg milksolids or just under 10c/litre more than the general milk forecast price.

In previous years A2 milk was available in fits and starts  (still happening today)
from much smaller licensed processors like Fresha Valley in Northland and Ridge Brands in Waikato.

NZ government is accepting submissions on Fonterra, with sweeping changes to be made in April 2019.
