I think like u, a lot of money is sitting on the side lines, waiting for the algos to plateau, then waiting for the engineered dead cat bounce to scare nervous holders one last time, then a momentum change to fair value, which is much higher than now.

Its important to understand a2m at 30/6/21 will have NZD 1.55 in cash per share so if u pay NZD 20.00 per share the immediate potential cash return is 1.55 / 20.00 = 7.8% and that's after a low growth 20/21 year.

Even if growth moderates a2m is a free cash flow return compounding monster. I have 30 /6/22 price target at NZD 28.00.

Given a2m integration with Chinese business interests, geo political risk is probably low.
