I’m most interested to know how North American sales are going in tomorrow’s HY. USA and Canada are the largest fresh milk markets in the world.
I’ve seen a few comments in these forums recently about the USA being a conundrum and the company being unable to crack markets like the UK.
What surprises me about the USA and Canada, is the rapid expansion of stores (Costco, Target, Walmart, etc are thousands of stores across the USA), plus it seems to have been widely praised based on consumer ratings etc.
The store expansion and consumer feedback doesn’t point to a struggling market, everything would appear that fresh milk in the USA is going gangbusters. Soon we will know how much discounting/promotion was needed to achieve that growth.
