I don't think she is referring to the guy who was setting up her (and others) Laptop. I am sure A2M had a handful of technicians able to buy and setup Laptops, maybe even setup and maintain some corporate network and drive. However - this was not the problem.
What a large company with complex supply as well as distribution channels needs is a properly configured enterprise management system (like e.g. SAP or BAAN).
I don't know whether they have anything like that, but if not, than it would be much easier to understand why they had not a clue what the status of their Diagou channel is ...
