Where did I say I didn't believe that Drake's IGA has stock on clearance? It's actually 100% true, just like the 20c tins of Karicare.
The only difference is when A2 is on a half price clearance in any single store nationwide, it appears to turn heads and make news. We barely hear about other brands until they hit some absurd pricing.In this climate, any store that is caught out with excess inventory will be caught out. The MFD dates are pre-COVID so who knows why a single store came to possess so much stock. But if there was a risk of mass inventory write downs across the board, we would be seeing nationwide discounting in the form of catalogue specials or lowering of RRP, neither of which happened.
