With the tier 3, 4 and 5 cities, I think the strategy would be to roll out to MBS stores only in the major catchment wealthier areas and A2 will rely on selling the cheaper English label product thru the online cross border sellers line JD.com and Tmall who are expanding their distribution networks to these cities. I heard JD.com has opened distribution factories in over 100 Chinese cities and expanding further. This is where the marketing skills comes into play thru influencers and promotions.
