For those interested, some finer grained 11/11 data was released looking at sales just on Tmall platforms (domestic, international & "supermarket")

The overall IF sales between 1-11 Nov were down 8% compared to 2020.

According to this data A2M ranked 3rd and grew sales by 6% YoY. This seems to stand slightly in contrast to David Bortollusi who said that their sales were down on last year, although he seemed to sound like some of their information was still pending. He may also have been referring to sales across other platforms as well, including JD.

This list has A2 as one of few brands that grew, whilst Feihe and other domestic brands declined comparatively.



A2 Stage 3 also had the most popular single product listing out of all brands, including Aptamil.

They sold 18,000 units of Stage 3 (from one listing only - the official store listing for 1 tin of Stage 3) for around $21M RMB - or around $4.8M NZD. The average price per tin was 1201 RMB which is decent and (according to DB) around 30RMB higher than last year. One would also assume that the 3 tin and 6 tin listings for Stage 3 also did fairly well. Based on the previous slide, the official store appears to account for 36% of overall sales on Tmall.
