You're missing the point. Listining to McGoldrick on speaking at earlier presentation gave me a lot of comfort to the extent that he knows what he's talking about etc. BUT not everyone, like some of you (who seem to be residing in the UK), have the "between the lines" insight to be able to digest article reports within a particular context, which is very different from how thousands of other DTE investors might perceive such comments ( I fall in the latter category). Comments that may be quite sound and acceptable from your perspective because you have some "deeper" understanding of where McGoldrick is coming from does not necessarily apply to the thounsands of other readers of those articles. As such it's pretty arrogant to make those sort of comments (especially coming from the CEO) and while so much is hanging on a thread. It is not helpful to the existing struggle against certain 'green" factions. To inflame and taunt existing negative sentiment is arrogant and I'm not so sure that the majority of shareholders will condone an "aggresive and offensive" approach. But apparently it works for some on here. So be it.
Ultimately, the majority of readers of the posted articles (like me) read it in an objective manner and as an investor I don't want to see such arrogance from a CEO (If indeed the article accurately reflects the comments and context). Let them first get their approvals and licences in place and get drill bit in the ground - then there may be some wiggle room.
